Regarding Visa Applications

Consular sections are located in Tokyo and Nagoya, each with designated jurisdictions. All procedures and inquiries must be directed to the consular section that has jurisdiction over your place of residence in Japan.

For visa types not listed under “Related Documents” and for other inquiries regarding consular legalization, please contact the consular section that has jurisdiction over your place of residence by email.

When contacting us, please include the following information:

1. Nationality (as shown on your passport)
2. Prefecture of residence in Japan
3. Purpose of travel
4. If you have any supporting documents such as an invitation letter, please attach them to your email.
